Cricut V's Craft Robo

Im looking into getting a cutter/plotter and have been looking at the Cricut and the Craft Robo! people seem to be raving about the Craft Robo - the Cricut is about to hit the Country and having had a look at it on their main site it seems there are alot more things to have to get for it as it takes cartridges, i know that it's portable and doesnt need your computer, but i think i like the idea of the Craft Robo, which i think would probably have more scope for creating your own bits and pieces without the use of standard templates.
